Earth's Evil Twin! - sequel to The Naked Eye Astronomer!
Date: 2013
Format: Animated Documentary Short
Length: 5:30 minutes
Distributor: Online
Exactly like Earth - but 100 times more deadly!
An animated documentary short film about the most hostile planet in the Solar System: Venus.
We take a deep look at Earth's neighbour: the planet Venus. We examine its history, its immense atmospheric pressure, and a surface temperature that could deep fry a probe.
Almost a year to the day that I released The Naked Eye Astronomer, I give you its sequel: Earth's Evil Twin. It took me a VERY LONG time to make, and at certain points I wanted to give up, but it was worth it.
Written, Computer Generated Images & Animation, Narrated and Directed by me, Luigi Pangaro, in 2013.

The Naked Eye Astronomer
Date: 2012
Format: Animated Documentary Short
Length: 7 minutes
Distributor: Online, Festivals
The Naked Eye Astronomer is a tour of the night sky in the southern hemisphere - without a telescope!
Using just your naked eye, you can see a vast array of planets, constellations and even the Orion nebula. There is no need for binoculars or a telescope, naked eye astronomy can be just as rewarding.
This film took 3 months to make, and alot of research and observation. It is based entirely what I see in my backyard, and I have produced the HD animation visuals by myself.

The Long Process
Date: 2010
Format: Documentary
Length: 25 minutes
Distributor: Online
The Long Process follows a group of volunteers as they try to make a documentary about a local TV station. I was director, camera operator and editor for this film.
This is one of my favourite films I have ever made, and it took a lot of time and effort. Thanks to 44 Adelaide, formerly C31 Adelaide for allowing me to film there and submit the film to the Antenna Film Festival.

The Movie Doctor

Inspired by real life events but overly exaggerated, this is a cheesy, nightclub influenced comedy.
Filmed and Directed by myself, it was made during the KinoAdelaide Kaberet 2011 for the International Bigpond Adelaide Film Festival Screening.
After You
Date: 2011
Format: Comedy
Length: 2 minutes
Distributor: Online
Two complete strangers bump into each other, leading to confusion and capoiera.
This is a film made by some friends of mine and myself, for the KinoAdelaide Kaberet 2011 event as part of the international Bigpond Adelaide Film Festival 2011.
It was part of the Quickie screening, where our task was to create a film in 24 hours.
