The Naked Eye Astronomer
Date: 2012
Format: Animated Documentary Short
Length: 7 minutes
Distributor: Online, Festivals
The Naked Eye Astronomer is a tour of the night sky in the southern hemisphere - without a telescope!
Using just your naked eye, you can see a vast array of planets, constellations and even the Orion nebula. There is no need for binoculars or a telescope, naked eye astronomy can be just as rewarding.
This film took 3 months to make, and alot of research and observation. It is based entirely what I see in my backyard, and I have produced the HD animation visuals by myself.
If you like what you see, spread the word!

Sneak peak at my new doco short!
Hello everyone!
It's evening where I live, so this is a brilliant segueway to what I want to talk about actually.
If you've been following me on twitter (and you should, lol) you would of seen the hashtag #stellar used by me in reference to a new doco short I've been working on.
It's about the constellations, planets that can be see in the southern hemisphere at night, without a telescope, just your naked eye.
It's completely 2D animation using some intermediate visual effect work and 720p HD workflow.
Basically, it's looking pretty cool.
I don't have the whole film yet, but here is some clips to wet your appetite (and yourselves lol)

Recently I have been working for Rebelslam!, who hold monthly poetry readings and performances in Adelaide, Australia. Local people have the chance to have their poems performed in front of an audience, and to win fabulous prizes.
I was hired to film, edit and upload each participant's performances. You can see these right here.
Also check out their website.

The Long Process
Date: 2010
Format: Documentary
Length: 25 minutes
Distributor: Online
The Long Process follows a group of volunteers as they try to make a documentary about a local TV station. I was director, camera operator and editor for this film.
This is one of my favourite films I have ever made, and it took a lot of time and effort. Thanks to 44 Adelaide, formerly C31 Adelaide for allowing me to film there and submit the film to the Antenna Film Festival.

The Movie Doctor

Inspired by real life events but overly exaggerated, this is a cheesy, nightclub influenced comedy.
